Learning Choices of Medical Students: An Experience from a Private Medical College in Lahore

Aim: To determine the patterns of learning methods undergraduate medical students. Study design: Descriptive cross-sectional study. Place and duration study: Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College, Lahore from 15th November 2022 to January 2023. Methodology: One hundred six students, comprising 54 males 52 females. The questionnaire consisted 16 items that identified four distinct choices: visual, aural, reading/writing kinesthetic. Results: 14.33% students learned by seeing; 26.59%studied hearing; 19.16%learned 19.10% liked study using physical methods.16.39% used bimodal sensory modalities only 4.42% more than one modality for learning. results will help teaching faculty modify their educational strategies in response Conclusion: valuable insight into students’ various approaches teachers strategies.
